Grow Hope’s 2024 Northern Territory immersion trips will see participants discover and explore an Indigenous perspective of the Country around them. From touring the beautiful landscapes of Kakadu National Park, to taking in the waters and caves of Katherine, where the outback meets the tropics, and soaking up the vibrancy of Darwin, participants will step outside their everyday and open their eyes to a different environment.
In Aboriginal culture, Country is more than a place. Rather, it is inherent to one’s identity and provides the spiritual, physical, emotional and social nourishment that every life needs. On immersion, participants will expand their awareness of this as they visit sacred sites, build relationships with Traditional Owners, and participate in many fun and adventurous activities.
