NATIONAL CLOSE THE GAP DAY ON THURSDAY, MARCH 16 2023 IS COMMEMORATED TO HIGHLIGHT THE VITAL ROLE OF CULTURE IN ACHIEVING POSITIVE LONG-TERM OUTCOMES FOR ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER PEOPLES AND COMMUNITIES.
This year’s theme is ‘Strong Culture, Strong Youth: Our Legacy, Our Future’, with a particular focus on the organisations and individuals working in communities to enrich the lives of First Nations youth across Australia.
The Grow Hope Foundation provides educational programs and learning experiences designed to create opportunities for Indigenous young people as we aspire for them to find their place in a future where all Australians walk and grow together. Learn more here.
Your school can support our vision and raise important funds for our programs by selling Grow Hope pin badges on Close the Gap Day. All proceeds will enable young people from the Gunbalanya community in West Arnhem Land to access life skills programs at Hope House, our residential learning facility in Darwin.
Each badge your school orders costs $2.00. Please fill out the form below to make an order and then complete payment (see details at the bottom of this page). Additionally, there is a $20.00 delivery fee to enable us to deliver the badges to your school.
